Memphis Quality Initiative (MQI) is a collaboration of Memphis area hospitals's CEOs, Presidents, Medical Directors, Chief Nursing Officers and Pharmacy Directors -- partnering, developing, and implementing city-wide, noncompetitive quality improvement initiatives.
Our Mission:
To be a catalyst, a resource, and a capacity-builder in the field of healthcare quality improvement for Memphis.
Our Vision
To provide the right care to every patient, every time. We plan to accomplish this by:
- Pursuing perfection by providing care that is Safe, Timely, Effective, Efficient, Equitable, and Patient-centered (STEEEP)
- Encouraging patient-centered customized care while discouraging unwarranted variation
- Improving care by sharing quality initiatives among medical and administrative professionals
